FS22 John Deere W260 + Macdon Swather Heads edit
A downloadable mod
A while back on my various scrolling sessions through Itch.io I stumbled upon a converted W260 mod Peterson Modding had put out in addition to the Macdeere swathing pack. At the time, I was looking for an alternative to BcBuhler's already incredible Swather pack on the in-game modhub, as I wanted to find a larger draper head for swathing.
Well as it turns out that W260 mod was very... undercooked to say the least. The dashboards didn't work, the cab was very dated and to top it off, the mod had no fuel gauge or repair meter on the dashboard.
So, after reading someone's suggestion to put Polycount Modding's 2022 W200 series cab on the older model, I decided to bring a broken mod back to life.
!PLEASE DO NOT RE-UPLOAD ELSEWHERE, ANYWHERE EXCEPT MY ITCH.IO IS NOT FROM ME!
THIS MOD INCLUDES:
- The John Deere W260 mod with Polycount Modding's cab included, with fixed lights, working dashboard numbers and hour gauge, as well as a couple tyre configurations.
- Modified versions of the Macdon 35ft, 40ft, 45ft draper headers to be compatible with not only the W260, but also BcBuhler's Swather mod.
Please Note: While the Macdon drapers work well on both W260 and BcBuhler's swather, I couldn't make BcBuhler's 9m swather head or mowing head compatible with the W260 on my end. It's recommended to use the W260 purely for swathing duties only.

Hey, great mod found a few issues with he colours though. The chassis seams to be a brighter green and some of the hinges are purple.
Yes, this is probably due to the fact that the original model is quite dated and not brought to FS22 properly hence the brighter green and some purple hinges. I would fix it, but I don't know when I'd get the time to, as I'm a lot busier now than I was this time last year. If you could send a screenshot where the purple hinges are on the model, that would help me pinpoint where the point of focus will be when I work on the mod next.
That's no worries at all, when I get off swing I'll take some pics for you
